According to the Sunday Express West Ham is preparing a bid on LA Galaxy’s David Beckam. David Gold, co-owner of the club, is reported to have said that Beckam would play a huge role in the club, not only in helping them on the pitch, but also off it. The Hammers are trying to be allowed to play in the London Olympic Stadium after the 2012 Olympic Games, and feel that Beckam would play a huge role in helping achieve that goal.
David has said that he plans on playing for both his club and the national team and playing in England would help him achieve that. However, this has all the making of being just an unproven rumor.
