The last time these two teams met, one Seamus Coleman failed to finish the game, having suffered a near-fatality at the hands of Neil ‘Roy Keane’ Taylor. Anyone who has watched the Swansea left-back play knows Taylor is not malicious, just really bad at football, but that could add an element of spice to an already slightly spicy affair between two local rivals.

Wales are probably the better team right now, but then again it’s hard to judge the Irish when they have to endure Martin O’Neill and his bearded emotional dwarf throughout every training session.

While the English battle the Scots in the capital there will be another home nations encounter for fans to enjoy going on, and with another transfer saga for the spectators to discuss at half time. The Republic of Ireland travel to Wales, where Gareth Bale and some other people the media don’t really care about lie in wait for what could actually be a pretty decent contest.

The teams are fairly well-matched, with the Welsh strength slightly less but their star man clearly the best player on the pitch, so this could be a very good contest.
