Today I got an email from a regular reader (FrankieBhoy67), he said he is a Glasgow Celtic season ticket holder. He said he had two tickets for the UEFA cup final which is next week, between Celtics’ arch rivals Glasgow Rangers, and Zenit St Petersburg of Russia. He included the image of his tickets (above) and said “I’d rather burn these than let 2 h** b****rds go to Manchester”. After a quick check of ebay I realised these tickets are changing hands for more than £1500 a pair. I thought he was only joking, and was shocked to check my mail after lunch and see this video of him actually carrying out his threat.
If your rival team was in the final would you be so upset you would burn tickets if you had them?
Rangers are on course to win the domestic treble, with an unheard of Quadruple if Walter Smiths’ team can safely get through next Wednesday night against Dick Advocaat’s Zenit St. Petersburg.

Rangers and Celtic football clubs are very shaky pegs to hang your self identity or national identity on. Maybe its time Scottish people woke up to the fact that they are letting two in reality “average” football teams poison their society to its core. Grow the fuck up Scotland – read a book or something FFS!

Obviously the tickets were counterfeit, no one is daft enough to burn 3000 quid. Has anyone considered that he’s done it for the attention alone? Hail, Hail!
