Tottenham prove that they are well in the run for forth place after beating Everton, who are probably still stunned from the beating they got for the Europa League. If it serves of any consolation for Toffee fans, Sporting beat current Portuguese League title owners Porto by the same margin last night.
Roman Pavlyuchenko and Luka Modric gave Tottenham the lead and, eventually, the win. Everton still managed to pull one back, but it was proven once again what many pundits say: Everton plays well only when they’re on top. The team lacks the ability to go all out in search for goal.
