Switzerland 0 – 1 Czech Republic Highlights

1-0 Vaclav Sverkos scores the winning goal for the Czech Republic.

The Czech Republic have won the opening match of the EURO 2008. It was a narrow 1-0 obtained with Vaclav Sverkos 70th minute goal.
Switzerland was the more active side during this game and from my point of view they deserved at least a draw. Czech Republic offered a rather poor representation that allowed the host nation to dominate the match.
Alexander Frei, Switzerland’s captain was injured in the 43rd minute and might miss all the other matches.
