Both these teams haven’t been achieving all they promised in the League, and will be out for blood in this match.
Sunderland promised much at the start of the season with some impressive displays. Recent form, however, has seen the team fall to a comfortable yet inglorious 10th place. Absence of Michael Turner until next year won’t help the side, already struggling with playing constant good football.
Everton also promised much in pre-season, but have failed to show anything for it in any of the competitions involved. With the team sitting in a surprising 15th place in the table, one can’t help but compare them to Portsmouth last season.
Still, both teams have individual quality to boot, and will certainly provide an excellent match, for fans and neutrals alike.
