Sunderland got right back into this League with an excellent win over Bolton. The Black Cats ended a dark cycle in 2010 and finally got back to wins, and to great matches at home – the same kind of matches that qualified them as European contenders early in the season.
A goal from Fraizer Campbell and a hat-trick from Darren Bent were all the history of this great match. Bent’s 3 goals get his England hopes back on track, much like Sunderland’s season.
Now we’ll have to see how far they can take this run of form, now that they’ll breathe a little easier in the relegation battle.
