Queen of the South v Rangers

Rangers are through to the Co-operative Insurance Cup quarter finals after beating Queen of the South two goals to one.

The first goal was scored by Rangers’ Steven Naismith at close range in the bottom left corner of the goal.

The second half saw the second Rangers’ goal, which was scored by substitute Nacho Novo who replaced Jerome Rothen.

A late consolation goal in added on time was scored by Robert Harris who scored from outside the penalty area to the top right corner of the goal.

Queen of the South suffered a serious injury to Steve Tosh whose boot caught in the ground forcing his left ankle into a horribly unnatural angle.

Sorry, we did have highlights up but the site that hosted them has since removed them. Since it was such a small game, nobody else has uploaded the highlight elsewhere – I’ve searched and can’t find them to update the post.
