A good win for Portugal with a relatively easy opponent. A lot of players rotated and two different formations used reduced the quality of the match in the second half.
Cristiano Ronaldo returned in great style to the team, playing a good match and getting an assist to the first goal. The Real Madrid winger powered down the left flank and found Hugo Almeida with a left foot past, who scored a good goal.
The match rolled on with Portugal always managing to create scoring situations whenever they put up that extra bit of speed to the match. In the second half, Liedson came in the team and Portugal changed their usual 4-3-3 to a 4-4-2 and the team looked lost in the pitch for a while. But Liedson got a goal after deflecting a shot by Moutinho and the rehersal ended up going well, under some incomprehensible booings by the fans in the stadium.
