A match between two teams that desperately need points, one maybe more desperate than others.
Portsmouth have been convincingly beaten by Liverpool 4-1 last match, and their league career can give them no hopes of recovery from the bottom place. On top of that, it has recently been confirmed that they’ll lose an extra 9 points for declaring bankrupcy, a hard blow for the team.
Iain Dowie is the man brought to Hull to save the team from relegation. The new manager will have an arguably easy debut match, but it can backfire if the teams fails to win. It’ll be an interesting match to watch, even if just to see just how the new manager will influence the team, and if he’s planning on making some heavy changes on the playing model.
