Birmingham avenged the Cup match last weekend, and proved the point that Portsmouth is a different team depending on which competition they’re playing at the moment.
Cameron Jerome scored 16 minutes into the match after a pass by Christian Benitez, and the striker partnership worked again when Benitez back-healed a pass to Cameron Jerome to score once again.
After the break, Portsmouth put up a better show and Kanu pulled one back, but it was still insufficient.
