Pepe receives only 6 week ban

Pepe caused a terrible scene two days ago in a La Liga game against Getafe. He kicked an opponent twice and punched another one in the last minutes of the encounter. Real Madrid’s defender rage started while he committed a penalty kick in the last minutes of the encounter.

The scoreboard was showing 2-2 and it seemed that Real will be out of the title race. Watch the above video and share your opinion. Mine is that the 6 weeks ban is to short. You can’t do that on a football pitch and get away with 6 weeks.

ha shocking play! it was a terible dive and should not have been a pen but you cant do that lol! pepe seems a bit of a loose cannon/idiot when i hae watched him play, he himself goes down easy so maybe it was deserved, all in all tho higuain scored so it doesnt matter

this should be a six month ban, at least. You don’t see everyday such craziness.
On the other hand, bosingwa from Chelsea got away without a ban for what he did against Liverpool

I think a 6 week ban is pretty fair, I would assume Pepe was outraged by the fact that Real didn’t get a LEGITIMATE penalty in the beginning of that play… leading to this counter-attack where the striker clearly simulated a foul… had Pepe injured a player or got into a brawl right after then it would have deserved a longer ban…

the first kick was aimed at the ball to be fair but then he just lost it…he’s apologised and i think everyone should just get over it. If you actually look, although he intended to kick casquero he barely even skimmed him so i think he should just be given his ban and everyone should forget about it. Also, i thought it was a ten match ban, not a six week? he misses the last six games of this season and the first four of next…

Shouldn’t be seeing these scenes in football at all. If someone came up to you on the street and “skimmed” our face, is that alright?

LDN, barely kicked him? The point was to get him with the cleats…not the front of his shoe….
