Omar Bravo and Andres Guardado scored unanswered goals as Mexico overcame an early deficit thanks to a man advantage over the final 55 minutes to defeat Uruguay in the third-place match of the Copa America on Saturday.
Sebastian Abreu gave Uruguay a 1-0 lead in the 22nd minute, but teammate Diego Alfredo Lugano was shown a red card for a foul in the box in the 36th minute.

Blanco, who will join the Chicago Fire in Major League Soccer now that the tournament is over, converted the penalty kick to draw Mexico even.
Bravo put Mexico ahead in the 68th minute and Guardado scored seven minutes later to seal the victory.
Argentina plays Brazil for the championship on Sunday at 5:05 p.m. (ET).
