1 – 0 Paul Scholes opens the score for United with a superb long range shot.
Manchester United are the first finalists of the 2007-08 season. The Red Devils have manage to eliminate Barcelona at the Old Trafford after a short 1-0 win. Paul Scholes was the night’s hero for the home side. Lionel Messi offered a nice show but his team-mates couldn’t provide the much needed support to his superb runs.
Cristiano Ronaldo helped Manchester United, but the general impression is that Lionel Messi was above him in this double leg. The Portuguese star did not play one of his best matches of this season.
