Italy had to accept a 1-1 home draw against Ireland, after they where reduced to 10 men as early as the 10th minute of the game. Pazzini was sent off, after an arguable referee decision. Iaquinta scored for the Italians while, Robbie Keane equalized for Ireland, 3 minutes from time.
