Ghana hires Serbian healer

I couldn't find a decent picture of the lady, and mare's placentas look a little disgusting, so here's a picture of Capello at the beach.

Milovan Rajevac grew tired of Ghana’s increasingly large injury list and decided to resort to the well known Belgrad healer Marijana Kovacevic. Marijana is famous for helping reduce the injury recovery time of the likes of Robin van Persie, Frank Lampard, Yossi Benayoun, Glen Johnson and Fabio Aurelio. She uses a special technique that involves a mare’s placenta.

And apparently Ms Kovacevic is doing this as a personal favor to Milovan Rajevac, since she makes a point of working only with individuals, and never with entire teams.

Ghana has seven players ruled out for the quarter-final match with Uruguai. Jonathan Mensah and Andre Ayew are suspended, but Gyan, Boateng, Vorsah, John Mensah and Samuel Ikoom are recovering from injuries and will undergo the placenta treatment.
