Germany 2 – 0 Poland Highlights
20′ 1-0 Lukas Podolski scores after a lightning German attack.
Germany land on the first spot of the Group B after a categoric 2-0 win over Poland. The match ended a few minutes ago. Both goals where scored by the Polish born Lukas Podolski.
Bayern Munich’s striker scored a goal for each half. He didn’t celebrate the goals as a sign of respect for his origins, but the Polish striker did not miss the chance to whistle him because he chose to play for the German national team and not for his native one.
The other Polish born German striker, Miroslav Klose was responsible for both assists for his national and club team-mate Podolski.
Poland forced the history to change. They did not manage a single win in 14 matches over Germany and every Polish fan thought that this would change. It wasn’t the night though and Poland seemed a little naive. They will need to defeat Croatia if they want to go past this harsh defeat.
