France win their last friendly game with 1-0 against Colombia. Raymond Domenech and his boys will travel tomorrow to Switzerland with only a few days before the start of the EURO 2008.
Franck Ribery scored the only goal of the game for the French side from the penalty spot. Thierry Henry managed to obtain the penalty kick in the 24th minute after he was pulled by the shirt in Colombia’s box.
The match had an alert pace with both sides providing a sustained rhythm. Colombia hit the post twice and France had also a few other scoring chances. As a general opinion, the Blues have a great side but they are not playing at their top level at the moment.
