Everton is still active in the race for 5th – and maybe 4th – place, but a match against Bolton is never an easy one.
Bolton are sitting comfortably in the middle of the table, and are managing their season with class. Tim Cahill has recently returned to training and may be a hefty reinforcement for the match at Goodison Park.
Everton come from a 2-2 draw against Birmingham, that was also Landon Donovan’s last match of his tenure at Goodison Park. The American played well in England and will surely be missed.
Everton will have to take the game to Bolton, since they play at home and are the ones in greatest need of points for their upcoming career. They have been playing well in recent matches and are looking good for the win.
