A decisive win for Celtic, despite some complications, with Keane scoring his first for Celtic.
The scoreline at half time was 2-2, which spelled trouble for Celtic. Mowbray’s lads aren’t exactly in the best of relations with their own fans right now, and you can sometimes feel it in the air, and in the occasionally sloppy way they play. But they pulled together at half time, showing a very good display of unity and defensive/offensive football, scoring two more goals and completely smothering the opposition. One can argue that against a division 1 team that’s what should have happened all along, but you have to give it to Celtic: they really weathered the storm and stuck to their guns to pull out of this one. Especially with the added pressure of the Cup now being pretty much their last hope if a title this season.
