Croatia offer the first surprise of the EURO 2008 as they manage an unexpected 2-1 win against the group leaders Germany. The Croatians started the match better and where the attacking side.
Darijo Srna opened the score for his side in the 24th minute after a great cross. Ivica Olic doubled Croatia’s lead in the 62nd minute. Germany tried to balance the game and started attacking. Podolski pulled one back for Joachim Low’s side.
