Chelsea v Liverpool If Chelsea beat Liverpool today they will go top of the league, thanks to Manchester United drawing last night.

Petr Cech is suspended, so Hilario or Ross Turnbull will take over in goals.

Michael Ballack is fully recovered from a thigh injury and should be back in the starting 11.

After missing the defeat by Fiorentina, Javier Mascherano is likely to make a comeback for Liverpool.

Daniel Agger is not fully fit, but may make the bench. He played for the reserve team this week after returning from Back surgery.

Both teams will be looking to impress after relatively poor midweek performances in the Champions League.
