The first Old Firm encounter of the Scottish season takes place today with Celtic v Rangers live in Glasgow. With each having played 3 games this season, both have already drawn a game and sit tied on 7 points.
Rangers will have new signing Maurice Edu available for selection but with only one training session before the game its most likely he will start on the bench. Walter Smiths £3m addition Pedro Mendes will start the game while Lee McCulloch is still doubtful with a knee injury.
Celtic will give late fitness tests to Jan Venegoor of Hesselink and Scott McDonald. Recent signing Shaun Maloney is fully recovered and available to play.
