Burnley 1-1 Stoke Highlights

A match that fits the game that was played by both teams, with the added comical bonus that Burnley moved their advertising boards closer to the pitch to disrupt Delap’s long throws.

Which failed. Delap took one of his bullet throws and Mamady Sidibe flicked it on to Tuncay’s goal – it was Delap’s 10th assist of the season.

But 52 minutes into the match, David Nugent headed home the equaliser, and set the final score. While Stoke are still comfortable in the league, Burnley could have used the 3 points from this one to escape the bottom three places, but they’re not looking bad and more chances will come.

Everton 5-1 Hull Highlights

Everton were after a way to jump-start their career after recent bad results and nothing better than an absolute trashing of Hull to get the spirits up.

Arteta was on great form, scoring two goals and putting up an amazing performance in his comeback. This was the 6th straight home win for Everton, which leaves them in 8th place in the League.

Hull is still third from last and is looking in trouble. The team will need some definite shaking before next match so they can lift their heads and keep fighting.
