La Liga

Something that Man. United fans were longing to hear for a long time, but never had the courage to say it: Almeria’s president called portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo a pimp.

“Cristiano Ronaldo is a pimp! He was angry with Juanma Ortiz because he lost the ball,” Martinez began. “He gave him a kick which should have been a red and not a yellow. It was an assault! If it was my player that did it he would certainly have been arrested. The player will not be beneficial to Real Madrid. He is always injured or suspended and thinks more about his national team than his club.”, said Roberto Martinez after the match. If you’re wondering about the incident he’s refering to, here it is:

But Mr. Martinez didn’t stop there. Outraged and downright nasty, he carried on by commenting on Real Madrid having been awarded a controversial penalty:

“Please, how can you blow for a penalty like that? All of Spain saw. It was not a penalty. So we were robbed the first time. Then, as our goalkeeper is a phenomenon, he saved the penalty, but Benzema appeared to score having been encroaching in the area. We were robbed twice in a minute.”

Incidents aside, what goes down to history is Real’s 4-2 win. If you missed it, you can see the highlights here!
