Wales 0-1 Sweden Highlights

by Joao on 3 March, 2010

Sweden takes the win home after this match, and it could have been by a bigger margin.

Wales couldn’t get anything out of this, and John Toshack talked about having a difficult life without Ramsey. But one player cannot justify the lack of pace and of cunning that the Welsh showed in this match.

Bolton’s striker Johan Elmander scored the winning goal for Sweden, who displayed good football in preparation for the qualifiers for the Euro Cup.

Scotland 1-0 Czech Republic Highlights

by Joao on 3 March, 2010

A great win for Scotland against a Czech side that’s yet to find their way into playing good football.

Scott Brown scored the winning goal for Scotland in a match where the boys in blue showed all their strength. A spirited performance left the Czechs waiting for more feeble opponents to get their act together. And although it wasn’t the most beautiful game to watch, Scotland got the job done.

And while Scotland show a good start to their campaign for the next European Championship, Czech still has a lot to regroup and re-do ahead of the qualifying round.
