Andres Iniesta wins the Nike Cup for Barcelona
Andres Iniesta, the Stamford Bridge hero for Barcelona, wasn’t at his first decisive goal. He scored a last minute Nike Cup winning goal, 10 years ago, as he played as a youngster for the Catalans. Iniesta was only 16 years of age and he received the winning medal from his actual coach Joseph Guardiola. I guess that’s why FC Barcelona is such a big club. Barcelona provide dramatic outcome at the Stamford Bridge. Chelsea lost the tickets for the Rome Final after in the added time. Andres Iniesta’s equalizer qualified Barca. The Catalans suffered the most part of tonight’s encounter. They played the last 30 minutes with one player less on the pitch.

Cristiano Ronaldo free kick goal against Arsenal – Champions League Semi-Final
Check out the above embedded video. What do you think was the strike perfect? Or Almunia could have done better and save it. My opinion is that Ronaldo stoke it great, but the distance was high enough to allow Almunia to have reaction time and save it. Anyway, great goal!

Nicklas Bendtner drunk until 4 am after the Emirates Champions League disaster!
Arsenal’s striker, Nicklas Bendtner, was escorted last night at 4am out of a Londoner club. The Danish player was obviously drunk and his jeans where reaching knee level. The nearby picture shows more than words can describe.
Bendtner offered this “show” a few hours after Arsenal’s Champions League disaster. The Gunners lost 1-3 at the Emirates and allowed Man Utd to win the tickets for the 2009 Final. [click to continue…]

Chelsea vs Barcelona Live
Chelsea will try to re-edit the 2008 Champions League Final. They need to defeat Barcelona tonight in order to achieve this. Man Utd are the first finalists and if the Blues can match the performance we will have the rematch of Moscow 2008 in Roma 2009.
