Barcelona presented a goal festival in Switzerland against FC Basel and scored 5 times against the home side. Lionel Messi opened the score after a superb Dani Alves no-look assist. Xavi assisted Burgos for his first goal for the Catalan side and Bojan made it 0-3 by the 22nd minute.

Same Bojan Krkic scored again right after the break. Xavi set the final score 3 minutes later and kept Barca comfortably ahead of the following pack in the Group C.
