The Manchester United star Anderson was involved in a car crash earlier this morning. The accident took place in the Geres mountain range, neat the Portuguese town of Braga. The Brazilian midfielder reportedly spend the night in a popular nightclub in Braga, Sardinha Biba, and then took off in his Audi R8. The car is only a two seater, but he was accompanied by two people.
Anderson was unconscious when he was pulled out of the car and taken to the hospital, where he received treatment for the minor injuries he sustained.
The accident is now in the hands of the Portuguese police, who will be investigating and may press charges for drunken and reckless driving.
Anderson is becoming known as a party guy, and that’s definitely not going to help his football career. He is currently recovering from knee injury and it is yet unclear how the Manchester United officials will react to this incident.
