City are looking more like a candidate to 5th place than to 4th. This draw is clearly a loss for City, despite Mancini’s upbeat speech.
City conceded a goal very early in the game, with Kenwyne Jones’ 9th minute header, and honestly didn’t go out to the pitch with the level of concentration they should be displaying. Mancini was forced to make some changes in his side and they came back a lot better for the second half. Johnson grabbed the equalizer and minimized the damage for City, who still see Tottenham a little further away after this round.
