Hull have been having problems in front of goal lately, and that comes as a relief for United, who have been having defensive issues. Last match Hull got hammered by Arsenal, and they’ll be looking at manager Phil Brown to change things around for the team. United’s defensive issues are best news for Brown, who is very aware of the team’s lack of a pure-breed goalscorer.
United manager Ferguson has come into heavy criticism for his choice to play with 3 center backs against Villa last week, but he will still swear by that decision. Brothers Fabio and Rafael have been brought back to the squad ahead of time, so the back four may be less patched for this match. The pressure is all on United’s side, as they won’t want to see Chelsea’s lead get any bigger.
