Liverpool haven’t been having the best of times in any competition they’re involved in this season, and all fingers are pointed at long-term manager Benitez. The spaniard was expecting his squad to start showing their good side in the match against Arsenal, but that was not to happen. They now turn to Wolves in hopes to jump-start their season and still prove themselves as contenders for this year’s title. There is speculation that midfielder Aquilani will be getting his first start in the EPL, which will surely please fans – especially if he starts turning in the performances he’s expected to.
Wolverhampton is still without Dave Edwards, Michael Kightly and Andy Keogh with ankle injuries, with goalkeeper Matt Murray out with a knee injury, and are likely to present the same starting 11 as last match, in a match which will prove hard for the Wolves.
