Rangers keep Celtic in sight with a good win ove St Johnstone.
Kris Boyd got two more in his bag, and the striker is coming very close to breaking Larsson’s record. Overall, it was an easy win for Rangers in a match they dominated.
Those looking at the scoresheet alone will make out Boyd as the man of the match, but it was spaniard Nacho Novo who took that glory, with his tireless runs and his contant display of flair. Definetely a man to keep an eye on, as the transfer window approaches.
Boyd got two goals in his name, but his overall performance in front of goal was sloppy, particularly in the second half, where he had more than enough chances to score his third.
