Manchester City manage the surprise of the day in the Premier League and demolish Arsenal at the City of Manchester stadium. Steven Ireland opened the score for City just before the halftime. Robinho doubled the lead in the 56th minute after a flashy counter-attack and a superb chip. The final score was set by Sturridge from the penalty spot.
