Premier League Predictions
Unfortunately, good things never last for long. Our award-winning prediction service has had to come to a halt for now, but watch out for the future. As a treat to FC Football Blog’s most loyal growing army of readers, we have compiled a special article giving you all the facts and statistics on how successful we’ve been on the predictions, including the overall percentage of how many predictions we got right, which I’m sure your itching to know. :)

Number of predictions made: 50
Number of goals predicted: 144
Number of goals actually scored: 131
Number of predictions got exactly correct: 6
Percentage of predictions got exactly correct: 12%
Overall Number of predictions got correct: 24
Percentage of predictions got correct: 48%
Number of predictions got correct excluding the Big Four: 13
Percentage of predictions got correct excluding the Big Four: 43%
Percentage of predictions got correct within the Big Four: 55%

A very impressive overview of our effort. This shows that the FCFB predicts very impressively when talking in terms of the amounts of goals that are to be scored in any given game. The evidence is the fact that we predicted only 13 more goals than there were actually scored, from 50 predictions. Although our exact prediction count is low with 12%, our overall amount of predictions correct is much more reassuring, with 48%, basically 50% of our predictions coming true. So, that means we got one out of every two predictions right.
Many people will point out that a lot of correct predo’s came from the ‘Big Four’, but stats clearly show otherwise. We have got 13 of our 24 predictions correct excluding the Big Four. The percentage of this was 43%, a very impressive figure. Our predictions within the Big Four were even better, with 11 out of 20 Big Four predictions correct, giving us a healthy 55% overall evaluation.

We hope you enjoyed this little fact-stat bulletin and all we can say is, watch out for more predictions for the future, but for the coming months, enjoy the highlights and upcoming new features from the FCFB.
