Real Madrid demolish Sporting Gijon and beat Barcelona’s record. The Catalans managed to defeat, in an away game, poor Gijon with 6-1. Real managed to top this a few minutes ago in the 4th La Liga match-day.

Bernd Schuster’s side won with 7-1 managing to score one more goal as their arch rivals did. Rafael van der Vaart was the early hero. He scored a great hat-trick, managing a superb back-heal goal. Higuain, Arjen Robben and captain Raul, who scored twice tonight completed the scoring sheet.
