Manchester United win 3-1 after using a mixed starting line-up against Middlesbrough. Youngsters and a few stars have been combined by Alex Ferguson to face Middlesbrough tonight in the Carling Cup. Cristiano Ronaldo opened the score with a great header and turned back in the score-sheet for United. Johnson equalized for the visitors with a long range shot.
Boro couldn’t face the pressure and two huge defensive errors lead to United’s goals number 2 and number 3. Ryan Giggs and Nani signed them. Check the goals!

If man utd play like they did with boro i bet will collect a handfull of points & subsequently stay in contention for the premiership. In the last couple of games man u would have easily bagged full points but only one major thing thwarted what looked like brighter dayz for the team- INCONSISTENCY. It’s like now we have become 15-20 minutes good team with lots of courage & enthusiasm in our play but afterwards we go into reverse gear losing possession unnecessarily, misplaced passes, hence allowing our opponents coming on us. the result of this has been giving away the lead and probably considing defeat. This was uncharacteristic of us last season. If we scored first we would either win or draw, & if we came back from behind we would go on to win. Thus, the solution for man utd to play like true champions lies in playing the game for which the team is known- fast movements & quick -counter -attacks- & avoiding dictation of the opponents’ game. The players also need to be resilient & always motivated to win regardless who they are playing against. Frankly speaking, no team in the premiership & europe can match up to the real game of man utd- ROMA will atest to this. GO MAN U!!!!!!
