Alex, sorry but some family issues prevented me having the time to analyse the games.

Given that there is money involved I would rather do no analysis (and no bets) than do them both badly!

I will be writing an update for tonights European games, you can expect the full post soon but it is going to centre on the fact that Manchester Utd look good value tonight @ 4/11

For everyone else reading, this gambling feature is instead of the planned Girl of The Week, which has been canceled in favour of concentrating on football related articles and posts. I hope you will all find this a suitable replacement!

Well my prediction for the Arsenal game went like clockwork. I really could not see past them scoring a lot and they didn’t let me down.

With the equalizer in the Liverpool game I had a keen eye on following the rest of that game, but no real problems and the winner scored with more than 30 minutes to go. I was still confident in the fact that Torres could come off the bench if required.

I’ll write a complete post with the numbers when I blog about my next set of bets (games on Saturday, blog post on Friday). As a quick summing up, we profited £400 from the Arsenal game and £83 from the Liverpool one, to leave the pot now sitting at £10,483.

If you have any bets on tonights games then by all means post up what you had and at what odds. I don’t ever worry about my bets but it was nice to get off to a winning start here!
