Manchester United don’t get the desired start to the new EPL season and obtain only a 1-1 draw at the Old Trafford. Obafemi Martins opened the score in the 22nd minute with a powerful header after a corner kick cross. Darren Fletcher managed to equalize for united, 2 minutes later. No other goals where registered and United end up with a single point and the 10th spot in the EPL table after the first match-day.
It seems that the Red Devils are getting a habit out of poor Premier League starts as I remember them having a very low start last season too, with a series of draws and short 1-0 wins. Let’s see how they manage the next matches. Highlights are available. Watch them.

Obviously not a header scored by Fletcher and obviously it was in open play and not from a corner
