Tottenham Hotspur 5 – 0 AS Roma Highlights
AS Roma faced disaster once again after a trip to England. They seem not to have learned their lesson after the 7-1 Champions League defeat against Manchester United 2 seasons ago. Tottenham Hotspur has managed to win 5-0 against the Italians from Roma, second placed in the 2007-08 Serie A season.
The Spurs saw again their top pre-season goalscorer Darren Bent scoring twice. Before that David Bentley opened the score in the 4th minute and registered his double just before the halftime. Aaron Lennon completed the scoreboard and a magic day for the Spurs and the White Hart Lane attendance.
