San Jose Earthquakes 3 – 2 Los Angeles Galaxy Highlights
San Jose Earthquakes send the Los Angeles Galaxy in deep problems after causing Beckham’s side another MLS defeat. Galaxy’s problems seem even bigger if we consider that the Earthquakes are ranked on the last spot of the MLS table.
The home side opened the score in the 7th minute. Alvarez scored and Huckerby doubled the Earthquakes’ lead in the 40th minute. LA Galaxy seemed to come back as Landon Donovan pulled one back in the 42nd minute from a perfect David Beckham cross.
Edson Buddle scored for the equalizer in the 76th minute and the Galaxy seemed to recover from the shock. Cochrane managed to set the final score in the added time as he scored from close range for the home side.
The Earthquakes remain on the last spot of the MLS, while LA Galaxy remain on the 8th spot of the table.
