LASK Linz 2 – 3 Real Madrid Highlights
Real Madrid started the preparations for the new season with a friendly game against the Austrian side, Lask Linz. The match was played in Austria, one of the co-hosts of the EURO 2008 tournament.
Spain, represented by Real Madrid, won again. Schuster’s side managed to recover a 1 goal deficit and went for the halftime with a 2-1 lead. Saurer had opened the score for Linz, while Julio Baptista and Raul have scored for Madrid.
Saviola extended Real’s lead to 3-1 in the 83rd minute. The home side managed to pull one back just before the final whistle as Mijatovic scored from the penalty spot.
