Thierry Henry plays charity football in New York
Barcelona’s top striker, the French national team player, Thierry Henry, has played yesterday in a charity football match organized by Steve Nash. The match was hosted by the Sara D. Roosevelt Park in Chinatown, New York.
Fans gathered in big numbers to see an unusual football match that featured along Thierry Henry, other popular football stars from Europe and the MLS like: Juan Pablo Angel (New York Red Bulls), Claudio Reyna (New York Red Bulls), Jozy Altidore (recently signed by the La Liga runners-up club Villarreal), Robbie Fowler (Cardiff City) and Steve McManaman (retired). NBA Stars have also tried the football. Players like: Raja Bell (Phoenix Suns), Steve Nash (Phoenix Suns), Jason Kidd (Dallas Mavericks), Baron Davis (Golden State Warriors) and Leandro Barbosa (Phoenix Suns).
