Joachim Low’s side had small chances to defeat a top favorite Portugal side lead by Cristiano Ronaldo. Bastian Schweinsteiger was the hero of the day with a goal and two assist.
Fatih Terim’s warriors defeated Croatia after a breathtaking quarter-final. The superior Croatian side opened the score in the 119th minute while Turkey equalized one minute later and won the match at the penalty shoot-out.

Germany start today’s semi-final as clear favorites. They showed a great strength against Portugal. Fath Terim has to search hardly until he can find a proper starting line-up. Turkey have only 12 field players available for this match. The rest will be absent because of suspensions or injuries.
Turkey really can’t produce a miracle in this conditions. Germany are a side that know to defend a lead. They proved it against Portugal. They are the finalist from my point of view.
