Netherlands vs Russia Live
The quarter-finals three and four will shape the second semi-final of the EURO 2008. Today we turn back to Switzerland for the quarter-final that involves Netherlands and Russia.
It should be a great game as both sides prefer an alert passing football and their best compartments are the attacking ones. We should see many goals and lots of scoring opportunities. That’s why I invite you tonight at 20.45 CET here at the FC Football Blog for our live coverage of the Holland vs Russia clash.
The live text commentary will start with the first whistle of the match. Fresh video highlights with the most important events at the St. Jakob-Park will be available minutes after they occur.
Holland have qualified for the quarter-final after dominating the group C. They won all the three matches and humiliated teams like Italy, France and Romania. More they proved some superb football and scored 9 goals during their group stage matches.
Russia have had a poor start of the tournament with a demolishing 4-1 defeat against group winners, Spain. They improved against Greece and obtained a much needed win. Sweden where also clearly defeated by Guus Hiddink’s boys. You must have noticed that the Dutch team will face a dutch coach tonight. Should be quite interesting. Be here!

Netherlands vs Russia Odds and Betting Tips
Holland are the favorites of this quarter-final. They have to be careful though as another team that had their 9 points performance in the goup stage ended with a penalty shoot-out defeat last night. Yeah, I am talking about Croatia. It seems that until now all the teams that performed greatly during the group stage have collapsed. I talk here about Portugal and Croatia. I think that the Dutch will manage though to keep their cool and go past Russia, although it will be very, very difficult.
