Russia played a superb football match against Sweden tonight. Guus Hiddink’s side demolished Sweden with 2-0. They had also numerous huge scoring chances, missed easily.
Sweden had no chance tonight. They forced the attack but couldn’t reduce the difference once Russia where leading 2-0. Pavlyuchenko and Arshavin scored the winning goals for their squad. Russia qualify for the quarter-finals from the second spot of the Group D. Netherlands awaits them. Sweden are eliminated from the tournament.
