Chelsea 2008-09 home shirt, socks and shorts
Chelsea unveiled their new kit for the 2008-09 season in the Champions League final played, last Wednesday in Moscow. It seems that the new strip wasn’t a lucky one as the Blues lost the final after the penalty shoot-out. The way they lost it can be associated only with misfortune.
This fresh Adidas kit manufactured for Chelsea is mainly blue. This is nothing new, as Chelsea’s main nickname is The Blues. I can tell that the new equipment resembles quite a lot with the previous edition. This new strip looks more professional. The collar design of the shirt is original and you can check it in the above images. The sleeve pattern is similar to the one used for Liverpool’s new kit.
