Los Angeles Galaxy 3 – 1 Kansas City Wizards Highlights
LA Galaxy have obtained a superb home win a few hours ago. The match counting for the 2008 MLS season saw Beckham’s Galaxy win 3-1 over the Kansas City Wizards. It was a superb game with both teams having numerous scoring opportunities. The visitors opened the score just before halftime. Lopez scored for Kansas.
LA Galaxy managed to turn the scoreboard around, scoring not less than three goals in the second half. Landon Donovan equalized from the penalty spot. Buddle sent the home side 2-1 in the lead after a 74th minute goal.
David Beckham set the final score with a superb long range shot, that landed into the empty net. The match ended of course with standing ovations for the English superstar and with LA Galaxy climbing on the 5th spot in the MLS table.
