Everton 3 – 1 Newcastle United Highlights
Everton win the first UEFA Cup spot available after finishing 5th this Premier League season. A 3-1 home win against Newcastle completed a good season for David Moyes’ squad. Yakubu opened the score for the home side. Michael Owen equalized from the penalty kick.
Lescott and Yakubu again, this time from the penalty spot, signed themselves on the scoreboard and kept the three points at the Goodison Park. The near 40,000 fans attendance was pleased and cheered their favorites players after a successful season.
