| Ghana and Ivory Coast – 3rd place Battle |
Ghana – Ivory Coast is the small final of the 2008 African Cup of Nations edition. It’s also called the bronze medal game, or the match for the third place. Many expected this teams into the final before the semifinal games. But both where denied by Cameroon respectively Egypt. If Egypt demolished the Ivory Coast and left them no chance to the final, Ghana and Cameroon had a balanced game. Cameroon’s time stalling at the end left me a bitter taste though.
